Oyo State College Of Nursing And Midwifery provost says admission into Basic Nursing is now through JAMB
Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery has extended the sale of Basic Midwifery Form with four weeks after the initial deadline of 20th March, 2024. This was said from a source known to be Dr. Gbonjubola Owolabi.
They emphasized that the main aim of the extension is to allow more time for potential students who may possibly still be interested in getting the form.
Dr. Owolabi further mentioned that the scheduled Computer Based Test (CBT) is now expected to happen on the 22nd- 24th of April while the interview date is set for 2nd and 3rd May, 2024.
She further emphasized not providing personal or financial information to any unofficial source claiming to be associated with the institution.
Interested applicants were urged to visit the Registrar’s office or ICT center of the College for further questions.
They said “admission into Basic Nursing is now through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the College will keep its standard high as admission will solely be based on merit. Post UTME form would be available at the College after the released result for those scoring the cut off mark of 200 and above in their exam”.
Dr. Owolabi mentioned that admission process into Community Nursing and Community Midwifery program has started and candidates for the program will be chosen from their Local Government Areas.
They appreciated His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde for paying full fees of all the recommended candidates from the Thirty-three (33) Local Government Areas and LCDAs.
